Second time up Illiniza Norte. This was a training climb for our hike up Cayambe in February - but in some ways it was more of a challenge. Illiniza Norte is lower and less technical than Illiniza Sur. There ia a scramble at the end to reach the summit. Last time it was clear. This time we had snow. Got a little sketchy at points. We were pretty stoked when we got back down to the bottom.
